Hey there! I'm Erick Diego Castillo Chávez, an illustrator and visual development artist based in Trujillo, Perú.As a self-taught artist who has been drawing since I was a child, I have always been fascinated by nature and space. My work is inspired by cyberpunk, retrofuturism, and sci-fi. I also studied mechanical engineering, so I am interested in the concept of physical systems and how they relate to the virtual world.Often described as bold and patient, I'm also incredibly curious and eager to learn, as well as to share my knowledge and thoughts with others.When I'm not painting, I like to learn any complementary skills or just play videogames with my friends.

I love to collaborate with other artists and studios to create really cool projects. I've worked with many artists over the years and I'm always looking for new and exciting collaborations. Music album design for Las Ratapunks

Las Ratapunks is an all-female hardcore punk band from Cajamarca, Perú. They were even described as «this is what punk bands are supposed to sound like»!The design of this cover is mainly inspired by cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic style with traces of peruvian iconography.
